first valentine's day...

as a married couple! the day was perfect- i got to spend time with my dear husband. we went to lunch at our favorite little deli & bakery, someplace else. then for some reason we ventured to the mall (bad idea on v-day). i got some new boots, we got a new tart pan from williams-sonoma, and we treated ourselves to a short massage from the chinese accupressure people. our next adventure included a trip to our favorite natural food store in okc- the big akin's! michael hunted down the greek yogurt he had been craving and i got to browse the natural beauty section. then...we headed over to the fish market so michael could pick out some lobsters for his dinner that he was going to cook for me. i convinced him not to get the live ones because i didn't want to hear them suffer ; ) he settled for the lobster tail instead. only a few more stops and then we're home...
wine shop
target...
a couple hours later...
voila!
lobster tail with whole-wheat fettucine in a lemon herb sauce w/veggies

and for dessert...dark chocolate dipped strawberries!

Oh my gosh, that looks delicious. I'm always intimidated when it comes to making "fancy" food at home, but I might have to give this a shot. Super romantic.
