michael had an interview this morning, and he looked handsome. i was able to snap this picture just before he walked out the door. pardon the mess in the background, but notice the freshly ironed clothes!

this is a season of change for us. trying to figure out where to go next and set long-term goals, or rather, draw out our desires. we try not to set things in stone because we know god has things already planned for us. if i had followed all of my plans i would have never met michael. so, we are learning to trust and let go. and it's not easy. but...it's so rewarding.

these verses encourage me:
but the plans of the lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
psalm 33.11

many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the lord's purpose that prevails.
proverbs 19.21

and we know that in all things god works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
romans 8.28
