a time for everything

there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven...
eccl. 3.1

our sweet friend, joe, passed away last month. joe was absolutely precious to us, like a grandfather who genuinely cared. his memorial service was a celebration of his character. we were so blessed to know him and i thank God that our paths crossed. i'm struggling with the fact that joe won't meet our baby boy, which he was so excited about, but i feel he'll be watching and celebrating with us from heaven. thank you for your prayers, friends.

Thats a lot of baby showers! Looks like you've got lots of friends & fam! It could be any day now... !!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, Erin. I know you developed such an amazing friendship with him. I'm thankful he's enjoying his time in Heaven. Sad he didn't get to meet your sweet boy.

Hebrews 13:2 "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it."

This scripture perfectly describes your relationship with Joe. Glad you were friendly to him so he could be a part of our lives. Many lives were blessed by your openness to strangers.
